Amy Wilson

Color Guard Instructor

Amy Wilson is the color guard instructor for Vancleave High School.  This is her 10th year in the Jackson County School District and 15th year in education.  Mrs. Wilson was also a teacher’s assistant for two years at Vancleave Lower Elementary before receiving her certified teaching credentials. She currently teaches science at Vancleave Middle School.

 

Mrs. Wilson graduated from East Central High School in Hurley, Mississippi in 2002. She attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and later transferred to The University of Southern Mississippi, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Education.

 

Mrs. Wilson has worked with numerous color guards over a 14-year span.  She has provided choreography and instruction to many coastal school districts including East Central High School, George County High School, Pearl River Central High School, Gautier High School, and Vancleave High School.   

 

Mrs. Wilson married Brandon Wilson in 2005.  Together they have one child, Ava, who is a member of the Vancleave band and color guard line.
