The Vancleave Band Program is dedicated to the artistic and social growth of each individual. Open-minded independent musicians are cultivated through critical thinking, inquiry, and creativity to create knowledgeable and reflective individuals who can effectively communicate their own identity, ideas, and creations. Citizenship and leadership are fostered through the development of personal and interpersonal skills that instill integrity, empathy, and respect within each individual. It is the endeavor of the Band Program to prepare citizens of the world who are compassionate, innovative, appreciators of the arts, and maintain balance in all aspects of life.
